The Family
A prestigious private family based in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, close to the children's school, is seeking an experienced native English-speaking nanny to join their household on a long-term basis. The family is looking for a nanny with a genuine ability to care for several children of different ages simultaneously, particularly active and energetic children. The successful candidate will be confident taking the lead, while creating a warm, structured and reassuring environment.
The Role
The nanny will take responsibility for the children's daily routine, including school pick-ups, accompanying them to their activities and outings, park visits, homework supervision and organising engaging creative, educational and sporting activities. She will also oversee snacks and meals, bath time, dinner and bedtime. The family is looking for someone who is proactive and autonomous, able to take initiative and create a stimulating environment while maintaining appropriate boundaries and a consistent approach. Native English is essential, as the nanny will speak exclusively English with the children.
Schedule
During the 36 school weeks, the schedule will be approximately:Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 4:00pm–9:00pm; Wednesday: 9:00am–9:00pm. Two evening babysittings per week, approximately 3 hours each. The children's school is located approximately 10 minutes from the family home.

The family is seeking a polished, trustworthy and experienced childcare professional who can build a strong and lasting relationship with the children.
Household Support
The position is primarily focused on the children, their wellbeing and development. The nanny will also contribute to the smooth organisation of the children's daily environment, including keeping their personal spaces and belongings organised, tidying after meals and carrying out occasional child-related errands.
School Holidays & Travel
The nanny will also work during the school holidays, with five weeks of paid annual leave, including approximately two weeks at Christmas and three weeks in August. The family travels regularly and the nanny will accompany them on selected trips, including ski holidays in the French Alps, stays in the South of France and occasional international travel. During travel periods, the schedule may be more intensive, generally around six days per week. Any additional hours worked beyond the contractual schedule will be recorded and paid separately as overtime. The successful candidate should therefore be comfortable with international travel and a flexible schedule during holiday periods.
Terms
CDI – Permanent position. Approximately 37 hours per week during school weeks. Salary: 3,200–4,000€ net/month, depending on experience and profile, plus 50% reimbursement of public transportation costs. Additional hours paid separately. 5 weeks paid annual leave. International travel required. Independent accommodation available.
Accommodation
An independent apartment of approximately 45–50m², located approximately 20 minutes from the family home, may be offered as part of the package. The accommodation option and salary package will be discussed according to the candidate's profile and requirements.
